Who was the Welsh singer known for singing the hit songs “Green Green Grass of Home” and “What’s New Pussycat?”
You might remember your mother loving this fellow, and wanting to save money to go to Vegas and watch him perform. Tom Jones was not only a great entertainer, but also quite a ladies’ man, so it wasn’t unusual that he boasted sleeping up to 250 women a year during the peak of his fame.
Tom hailed from Glamorgan, South Wales of the UK, and found fame in America as part of the British Invasion. He performed regularly at Las Vegas throughout his career. And some of his other hit songs were “Delilah,” “It Ain’t Unusual,” and the one more known to younger people, “Sex Bomb.”
