How many bullets struck JFK during his assassination?
The whole nation was shocked to the core by the events of November 22, 1963, when President Kennedy was assassinated while traveling in a motorcade through Dealey Plaza in Texas. Texas Governor John Connally, who was with Kennedy, was also wounded, though he recovered later.
The President was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald, who was perched in a nearby building as the motorcade was making its way. Investigations revealed that Oswald acted alone in the assassination.
