Ballots went out this week for the 2021 baseball Hall of Fame. Should A-Rod be in Cooperstown?
Considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time, Alex Rodriquez played for the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and New York Yankees throughout his career. His impressive records include a .295 batting average, over 2,000 runs scored, over 600 home runs (696), and over 2,000 runs batted in (RBI).
His stellar career is also marred by controversies. In 2009, Rodriquez admitted to using steroids while he was playing for the Texas Rangers. This is likely to keep him from being admitted to the Baseball Hall of Fame, even though he has potentially 10 years to make it to Cooperstown.
