For a band that has been active for more than 6 decades, it may be difficult to pick one album that is better than all the rest. That being said, Let It Bleed is one serious contender. The album was released on 28 November 1969. It debuted at number 1 in the UK and number 3 in the US. Noteworthy singles include “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” and “Gimme Shelter”.
Let it Bleed was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2005. It also made its way into Rolling Stone’s list of 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
