This version of baseball is suitable for children as it is much safer. It can also be played indoors or in confined places without the risk of destroying anything. The plastic ball is also perforated so that it curves easily. A game can last up to 7 innings or 60 minutes, whichever comes first.
Wiffle ball is also played professionally, with many competitive leagues in the United States bearing the name Major League Wiffle.
